This 2004 Chevrolet SSR was purchased new by the seller’s late father, and it has been registered in Wisconsin since that time. Finished in Redline Red with pinstriping over Ebony leather, the truck is powered by a 5.3-liter V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a power-folding hardtop, satin chrome running boards, auxiliary gauges, a sport suspension, heated power-adjustable twin bucket seats, remote keyless entry, cruise control, a CD stereo, and air conditioning. This SSR is now offered by the seller on behalf of their father’s estate with a clean Carfax report and a clean Wisconsin title.
The SSR was built on a modified version of the GMT360 platform shared with the contemporary TrailBlazer SUV, and its styling was inspired by the Chevrolet Advance Design family of trucks. This example is finished in Redline Red with yellow pinstriping and features a color-matched hardshell tonneau cover and a power-retractable hardtop. Additional features include flush-mounted halogen headlights bisected by a satin-finished chevron bar as well as flush-mounted taillights, power-operated heated side mirrors, integrated satin chrome running boards, and dual polished exhaust tips.
Chrome-finished 19″ front and 20″ rear five-spoke cast-aluminum wheels are mounted with older Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires. The SSR was equipped from the factory with a ZQ8 sport suspension featuring an independent front and five-link solid-axle rear setup with front and rear stabilizer bars. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes.
The twin heated and power-adjustable high-back bucket seats are upholstered in Ebony leather. Body-color wraparound trim accents the cabin, while satin chrome trim adorns the dash, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes a color-keyed waterfall console as well as an AM/FM/CD stereo, air conditioning, and cruise control.
The replacement gauge cluster was fitted in October 2017, and it includes a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. Auxiliary gauges for voltage, fuel consumption, and transmission temperature are mounted below the center console and feature satin silver-finished bezels. The digital odometer shows 763 miles.
The 5.3-liter Vortec 5300 V8 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque. A battery cut-off switch is stationed beside the battery, and a Magnaflow catalytic converter was added in May 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage.
The car is being offered by the seller on behalf of an estate.
