This 1959 Lincoln Continental Mark IV convertible was reportedly purchased by the seller’s late spouse approximately nine years ago, and was used for driving to car shows for display. The car is finished in white over red vinyl and features a power-operated black convertible top with a retractable rear window. Power is provided by a 430ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes a four-barrel carburetor, dual exhaust outlets, and power-assisted drum brakes as well as a Town and Country AM radio, power windows, and rear fender skirts. This Continental convertible is now offered with recent service records and a clean Delaware title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in white and fitted with a power-operated black soft top with a retractable rear window. Details include quad stacked headlights, chrome bumpers and trim, front window vents, “Continental” and “Mark IV” badging, rear fender skirts, and dual exhaust outlets. Paint chips around the body are pictured in the gallery below along with pitting in the chrome trim.

This is a relist after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in September 2024 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner’s participation on BaT has been restricted and their buyer’s fee was not refunded.

The 14″ steel wheels wear full covers with brushed accents and are mounted with American Classic radial whitewall tires. The seller notes the power-assisted drum brakes were serviced in 2018.

The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in red vinyl and accompanied by a black dashboard and carpets. The front bench is power-adjustable, and additional equipment includes a Town and Country AM radio, power windows, and a dash-mounted automatic headlight dimmer.

The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 43k miles, approximately 4k of which were added during current ownership.

The 430ci V8 features a single four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission.
