This 2000 Mercedes-Benz SL600 remained with one owner before the selling dealer acquired it in 2003, and it now has 47k miles. Power comes from a 6.0-liter V12 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, and the Brilliant Silver Metallic roadster was optioned with the SL1 Sport package, which added 18″ AMG wheels, revised bodywork, and xenon headlights. The cabin features heated and power-adjustable multi-contour seats trimmed in black Exclusive leather, and additional equipment includes a power-operated black convertible soft top, a color-keyed removable hardtop, a Bose sound system, and automatic climate control. Work in preparation for the sale involved replacing the thermostat, oil level sender, and tires. This R129 is now offered with partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title.

The roadster is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features both a power-operated black convertible soft top and a color-keyed removable hardtop. The SL1 Sport Package added revised AMG-designed bodywork including the side skirts and front and rear bumper covers, and the car is also equipped with xenon headlights, fog lights, fender vents, V12 badging, and a power antenna. The soft-top hydraulic cylinders were replaced with remanufactured units in October 2024. The right-side fog light is cracked and the surrounding trim piece is missing. Hazing on the soft top rear window and scratches on various body panels are noted by the selling dealer.

Silver-finished 18″ five-spoke AMG wheels were mounted with 245/40 front and 275/35 rear Continental ExtremeContact tires in preparation for the sale. Standard equipment included Automatic Slip Control (ASR) and an Adaptive Damping System (ADS) with all-wheel automatic level control. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. Various sensors related to the suspension system are said to have been replaced in 2024.

The heated and power-adjustable multi-contour seats are trimmed in black Exclusive leather that extends to the door panels. Burl wood trim accents the interior, and amenities include a deployable roll bar, seat position memory, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, a heated rear hardtop window, cruise control, and automatic climate control.

The four-spoke steering wheel is trimmed in wood and leather and fronts a central 160-mph speedometer surrounded by a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 47k miles, all but a handful of which were added by the selling dealer.

The 6.0-liter M120 V12 was factory rated at 389 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Work in preparation for the sale included changing the oil, recharging the air conditioning system, and replacing the thermostat, oil level sender, and oil pan gasket.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission. The underside photos were taken in June 2024.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage. There is a gap in entries between July 2004 and July 2024.
