This 1971 Triumph TR6 spent time in Kentucky through the seller’s acquisition in 2010 and underwent a subsequent multi-year restoration that was completed in 2016. It is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive and is finished in Damson Red over black vinyl. Equipment includes a black convertible top, dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, a stainless-steel exhaust system, a rear tube shock conversion, front disc brakes, 15″ steel wheels, a cabin heater, and a Pioneer stereo. This TR6 is offered with an owner’s manual, restoration photos, and a clean Kentucky title in the seller’s name.

The car was stripped to bare metal and was refinished under current ownership in Damson Red. Exterior details include a replacement black canvas soft top, a black top boot, a front chin spoiler, a bullet-style driver mirror, a LeMans-style fuel filler cap, and chrome-finished bumpers.

Silver 15″ steel wheels feature polished trim rings and are mounted with older Dunlop Signature II tires. A spare is housed beneath the rear cargo floor. The suspension is modified with a rear tube shock conversion, and stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.

The bucket seats are reupholstered in black vinyl, and interior appointments include a cabin heater, a wood shift knob, and a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer CD stereo.

The three-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and fronts a wood-veneer dashboard that houses refurbished instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 1,500 miles, which represents miles accumulated since the restoration.

The 2.5-liter inline-six was factory rated at 104 horsepower and 142 lb-ft of torque and features a polished valve cover, a spin-on oil filter conversion, dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, and a stainless-steel exhaust system. The bottom end of the engine was rebuilt under previous ownership and a top-end rebuild was completed during the restoration.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with a Laycock A-Type overdrive.

In-process photos of the restoration are presented in the gallery.
