This 2000 Porsche Boxster S was purchased by the seller in 2023 and has since received a Pelican Parts single-row IMS bearing kit, a Rennline short-shift kit, an IPD intake plenum, a Softronic tune, and H&R springs as well as a replacement soft top, clutch, flywheel, water pump, air-oil separator, timing chain tensioner, drivetrain mounts, and more as detailed below. It is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over replacement black vinyl and is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. The car has spent time in Florida, California, and Oregon and now has 87k miles. This 986 Boxster S is now offered at no reserve with a maintenance log, recent service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic (L92U), and a replacement black soft top with a glass rear window was installed in December 2023. Additional exterior details comprise a speed-activated rear spoiler, side air intakes, and roll hoops. The front and rear trunk lid struts were replaced in June 2023 and the fuel filler cap was replaced two months later.

The 18″ Carrera-style wheels were mounted with Fuzion tires in June 2023. Multiple wheels have curb marks. H&R lowering springs are installed, and braking is handled by red four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The front brake pads and rotors were replaced in June 2023 and aftermarket axles were installed in October 2023.

The seats were reupholstered in black vinyl with red stitching and debossed Porsche crests on the headrests in September 2023. Features include a Rennline Precision short-shift kit, an FF1 shift knob, a wind deflector, cruise control, red seatbelts, automatic climate control, metal pedal covers, and a Boss Audio Systems touchscreen stereo hooked to PowerBass speakers. Cupholders have been added to the center storage cubby.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a central tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 87k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.2-liter flat-six was factory rated at 250 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. Work completed since August 2023 has included installing a Pelican Parts single-row IMS bearing kit, a Sachs clutch kit, a Luk dual-mass flywheel, a Softronic engine software tune, a 74mm throttle body, and an IPD Competition intake plenum as well as replacing the following parts:

  • Water pump
  • Spark plugs
  • Drive belt
  • Fuel filter
  • Thermostat
  • Ignition coils
  • Camshaft plugs
  • Air-oil separator
  • Oil cooler O-rings
  • Coolant reservoir cap
  • Timing chain tensioner
  • Engine and transaxle mounts

The oil was most recently changed in September 2024.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
