This 1974 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was acquired in 1984 by its current owner, who purchased the vehicle from a friend who bought it new. Powered by a 350ci L82 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, it wears a repaint in red over seats reupholstered in white, and it has a replacement white soft top, a limited-slip differential, 15″ Rally wheels, MagnaFlow mufflers, power windows, and a Pioneer stereo. The selling dealer reports its engine, transmission, and differential were overhauled in 2007. This C3 Corvette shows 59k miles and is offered on dealer consignment with a Zora Duntov–autographed NCRS vanity plate and a clean Pennsylvania title in the owner’s name.
The car was finished at the factory in silver (14L), and it has a driver’s side mirror, a fixed antenna, and turned-down exhaust outlets beneath its rear bumper, which was revised for 1974. The selling dealer reports a hardtop accompanies the vehicle.
The 15″ Rally wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. KYB dampers are noted, and four-wheel disc brakes provide stopping power.
The bucket seats are re-trimmed in white upholstery, and the cabin has power windows, JVC speakers, and a Pioneer stereo.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Gauges for fuel level, water temperature, oil pressure, and amperage are mounted in the center stack along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 59k miles, approximately 45k of which were added under current ownership.
Rated at 250 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque when new, the Turbo-Fire 350ci L82 V8 was equipped at the factory with a four-barrel carburetor, and it has a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers. Power is supplied to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction limited-slip differential.
