This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a 327ci L76 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in white over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, a white removable hard top, 15″ American Racing wheels, an AM/FM radio, a center armrest, and concealed headlights. An engine rebuild was reportedly completed in 2022. This C2 convertible was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and is now offered in Florida with an owner’s manual and a clean North Carolina title.
The fiberglass body was factory-finished in Ermine White (936) and features a black convertible soft top and a white hard top as well as flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, and chrome bumperettes.
American Racing Torq Thrust 15″ wheels are mounted with Delta Essex 4 tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums.
The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl as well as matching door panels and carpets. Amenities include a center armrest with a cupholder as well as a heater, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, an inoperative tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 9k miles, approximately 10 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 327ci L76 V8 was equipped from the factory with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and had a factory rating of 365 horsepower. The engine is said to have been rebuilt in 2022.
The engine stamping is shown above.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
