This 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG remained in California until the seller’s purchase in 2024, and it now has 59k miles. The car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Pewter Metallic over red Exclusive leather upholstery. Equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop, a panoramic glass roof, bi-xenon headlights, Parktronic, 19″ two-piece alloy wheels, Keyless Go, heated and ventilated seats, and a Pioneer head unit. This R230 is offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Pewter Metallic (723) and features a power-folding convertible hardtop with a panoramic glass roof. Other equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, fender air vents, and AMG bodywork including a revised front spoiler, side skirts, and quad exhaust outlets. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.

The 19″ two-piece alloy wheels are mounted with Khumo tires that have 2021 and 2022 date codes. The car features Active Body Control suspension as well as an Electronic Stability Program, Automatic Slip Control, and an AMG High Performance Braking System with cross-drilled rotors. The trailing arm bushings and lower control arm bushings were replaced in 2021.

The heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable seats are upholstered in red Exclusive leather. A Pioneer head unit has been added, and additional amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, Parktronic, Keyless Go, a Bose sound system, and a Mercedes Motorola flip phone.

The leather-trimmed steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 59k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership.

The twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter M275 V12 was factory-rated at 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. The engine mounts, valve cover gaskets, idler pulley, crankshaft seal, and spark plugs were replaced in 2021, and the drive belts were replaced in 2022. An oil change was performed in July 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. The transmission mount was replaced and the transmission fluid was changed in 2021.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.

There is currently a lien on the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
