This 1967 Ford Mustang convertible was acquired by the seller in 2000, and it was refurbished and modified over the past few years. Highlighting the modifications is the crate 302ci V8 that is topped by a 600-cfm Holley carburetor and linked to the 3.55 rear end through a four-speed manual transmission. Mustang Masters of Virginia repainted the exterior Candy Apple Red, and the refreshed interior has Deluxe upholstery and aluminum accent trim. Moog suspension components were installed up front along with a replacement power steering pump and brake components, and an aluminum radiator, a dual exhaust system, and 17″ chrome wheels were fitted. The car also has a black soft top, a Hurst shifter, and front disc brakes. This Mustang convertible is now offered with service records and a clean Maryland title in the seller’s name.
According to the seller, Mustang Masters of Virginia repainted the car in 2023, which involved three coats of Candy Apple Red, four coats of clear, block sanding, buffing, and machine polishing. The chrome bumpers were also recently replaced along with weather seals and trim items, and the black soft top was installed in 2014.
The chrome 17″ alloy wheels and 225/50 Fullway HP108 tires were both installed during the refurbishment. The front suspension was overhauled with Moog components, and the car has power-assisted front disc brakes and power steering.
Deluxe upholstery and aluminum accent trim were installed by the seller, and a Hurst shifter has been fitted along with a Sanyo stereo.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Bosch tachometer mounted on the column. The five-digit odometer shows 83k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership.
The 302ci V8 was a crate engine installed during the refurbishment. It is topped by a Holley 600-cfm carburetor, and an aluminum radiator was installed along with a replacement starter, alternator, hoses, and belts.
The seller states the clutch was replaced and a 3.55 gearset was installed. The car has a dual exhaust system, and the fuel tank and fuel pump were also replaced.
