This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was acquired by the seller in 2014 and subsequently refurbished and modified over the next three years. Modifications include a tubular chassis, a 6.0-liter LS2 V8, a Tremec five-speed manual transmission, a C4 rear end, C5 suspension components, coilovers, an Al Knoch interior, and Vintage Air air conditioning. Additional equipment includes a white convertible soft top, 18″ alloy wheels, power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, Magnaflow mufflers, white-dial gauges, and concealed headlights. This C2 convertible was purchased by the seller in 2014 and is now offered with refurbishment photos, service records, and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.

The fiberglass body is refinished in blue with a white stripe on the stinger-style hood. Features include a replacement white convertible soft top as well as flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, and chrome bumperettes.

Alloy 18″ wheels are mounted with 255/45 Cooper tires. Suspension components are said to have been sourced from a C5 Corvette, and JRi coilovers are fitted at all four corners. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by C5 Corvette specification disc brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder.

The cabin was reupholstered with Al Knoch white leather seat covers and color-coordinated door panels as well as blue carpeting. Amenities include Vintage Air air conditioning, an analog clock, and lap belts. The clock was converted to quartz in 2016. The windshield wipers, radio, and cigarette lighter do not work.

The Billet Specialties steering wheel and steering column sits ahead of white-dial Omega Kustom Instruments gauges. The digital odometer shows 1,200 miles.

The 6.0-liter LS2 V8 was installed in 2014 and is equipped with a DeWitts aluminum radiator, a Holley oil pan, and a dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual Tremec transmission and a rebuilt rear end said to have been sourced from a C4 Corvette. The car rides on a Jamison’s Custom Corvette tubular chassis, and the rear floor is said to have been raised to accommodate the frame. The half shafts were fabricated by Dutchman’s Axles of Meridian, Indiana.

Decoding the trim tag reveals:

  • Style 64 867 – 1964 Corvette convertible
  • Body S6099 – St. Louis body number
  • Trim STD – Back vinyl upholstery
  • Paint 923 AA – Riverside Red

Refurbishment photos and service records are shown in the gallery below.
