This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was acquired by the current owner in 2008, and a refurbishment was completed in 2023. The car is powered by a rebuilt 327ci L76 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and it is refinished in white over red upholstery. Features include a removable hardtop, a white convertible soft top, 15″ steel wheels with three-eared knock-off spinner-style hubcaps, an AM/FM radio, and concealed headlights. This C2 convertible is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with service records and a clean Florida title.
The fiberglass body was finished at the factory in Ermine White (936) and was refinished under current ownership. Features a removable hardtop and a replacement white convertible soft top as well as flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance.
Silver-finished 15” steel wheels feature three-eared knock-off spinner-style hubcaps and are mounted with 6.70-15 Goodyear whitewall tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums.
The cabin was refurbished and features two bucket seats reupholstered in red as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 33 miles, though total mileage is unknown.
The 327ci L76 V8 was equipped from the factory with a single four-barrel carburetor and a high-lift camshaft for a factory rating of 340 horsepower. A rebuild was completed in late 2023. Additional equipment includes finned aluminum valve covers, a chrome dipstick, and a Harrison aluminum radiator.
The engine stamping includes sequence 3120393, which matches the last six digits of the vehicle’s serial number. The RE suffix corresponds with a 340-horsepower, 327ci V8 for use with a manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
