This 1973 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce was sold new at Precision Motors in Dallas, Texas, in October 1973 before being relocated to California under previous ownership. It was subsequently acquired by the seller following refurbishment work completed in 2023. Finished in Rosso with a black soft top over black vinyl upholstery, the car is powered by a 2.0L twin-cam inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Further equipment includes Carello-branded headlamp covers, power-assisted disc brakes, and 14″ Daytona-style wheels along with a wood-rimmed Personal steering wheel, Jaeger instrumentation, and a Bluetooth-capable stereo. This S2 Spider is now offered in Beverly Hills, California, with manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, spare parts, accessories, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The Pininfarina-designed bodywork is finished in Rosso (AR521) and is complemented by a replacement black soft top. Carello-branded headlamp covers, dual side mirrors, and a central exhaust outlet are additional details. The hood has been replaced and repainted, and the seller notes a crack in the vinyl convertible top window.

The 14″ Daytona-style wheels are mounted with 185/70 14 Pirelli Cinturato CN36 tires. The car was factory equipped with an independent front suspension, a live rear axle, and anti-roll bars. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs.

The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl upholstery complemented by a color-coordinated dash, door panels, and carpets. A Bluetooth-capable stereo has been added, and further amenities include a dashboard-mounted gearshift lever, an integrated center console, and a heater. Microsuede trim has been added to the center console as well as the upper doors and A-pillars, and a set of sheepskin seat covers will accompany the car.

The wood-rimmed Personal steering wheel frames a dual binnacle gauge cluster housing a Jaeger 140-mph speedometer and 8k-rpm tachometer. Centrally mounted auxiliary gauges indicate fuel level, oil pressure, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 23k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added under current ownership. The seller states that total mileage is unknown.

The 2.0L twin-cam inline-four was factory equipped with SPICA mechanical fuel injection and was rated at 129 horsepower when new. The engine wears a red-finished valve cover, and the seller notes that there is oil seeping from the cylinder head o-rings.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The seller reports that the transmission occasionally pops out of reverse and notes leaks from the transmission and differential.
