This 2001 Jaguar XK8 convertible remained in the same owner’s care for about two decades until being acquired by the selling dealer earlier this year. Finished in Platinum over Oatmeal leather, the car is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, 17″ Lamina alloy wheels, fog lights, navigation, heated power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, an Alpine sound system, and a cassette stereo with a remote six-disc CD changer. This XK8 has 69k miles and is now offered by the selling dealer with owner’s manuals, a clean Carfax report,  and a clean Michigan title.

The car is finished in Platinum and features a black convertible soft top. Additional equipment includes fog lights, a power antenna, rear parking sensors, and polished exhaust outlets.

The 17″ Lamina alloy wheels are mounted with Continental PureContact tires. The car is equipped with traction and stability control, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes.

The seating surfaces are upholstered in Oatmeal leather, and the cabin features a color-coordinated lower dashboard and door panels as well as wood veneer trim. Other amenities include heated power-adjustable front seats with memory settings for the driver as well as navigation, cruise control, automatic climate control, an Alpine sound system, and a cassette stereo with a remote six-disc CD changer.

The four-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,750-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 69k miles.

The 4.0-liter AJ V8 was factory rated at 290 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. Work in preparation for the sale included an oil change and replacing an O2 sensor as well as the fuel pump, fuel filter, and serpentine belt.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed automatic transmission. Corrosion is evident on underbody components.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
