This 1965 Ford Thunderbird was previously sold on BaT in December 2017 and was acquired by the seller in 2019. The car is finished in red over black vinyl and powered by a 390ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes a power-operated soft top, a roadster-style tonneau cover, rear fender skirts, 15″ wheels, front disc brakes, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, and a retro-style digital stereo. A transmission fluid flush was performed under current ownership. Previously offered on BaT in December 2022, this Thunderbird is offered again at no reserve with partial service records and a clean California title in the name of the seller’s trust.

The car left the factory finished in Midnight Turquoise Metallic (B), and received rust repair and a repaint in red in 2011. Equipment includes a power-operated white soft top, chrome bumpers, rear fender skirts, and a roadster-style tonneau cover that has paint chips on the edges. The passenger door was repainted under current ownership. The listing photos were taken in 2022, and the car has been stored since.

Steel 15″ wheels are fitted with Thunderbird-branded covers and are mounted with 215/75 Kumho Solus narrow-whitewall tires. A spare wheel, tire, and cover are stored in the trunk. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.

The front bucket seats and contoured rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl and are joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, power windows, a retro-style digital radio, and aftermarket speakers. The seller notes that the door panels are due for replacement and the power windows work intermittently.

The two-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket cover and fronts a 120-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 90k miles, approximately 2k of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.

The 390ci V8 is fitted with a four-barrel carburetor and is said to have received replacement cylinder heads in 2014. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission that received a fluid flush under current ownership.

Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
