This 1989 BMW 325i convertible has remained registered in Missouri for three decades, and it is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Finished in Sterling Silver Metallic over blue leather upholstery, the car is equipped with 14″ bottle cap wheels, a blue soft top, fog lights, front sport seats, an onboard computer, power windows, and air conditioning. It was purchased by the seller in 2023, and work performed since that year is said to have included replacing the soft top, windshield, rear shocks, strut mounts, lower control arms, tie rods, wheel bearings, brake components, timing belt, battery, oxygen sensor, and exhaust system. This E30 convertible is offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Missouri title.

The car is finished in Sterling Silver Metallic (203) and features a blue convertible soft top that is said to have been replaced in 2023. Equipment includes fog lights, painted mirror caps, a power antenna, and dual exhaust outlets. The windshield was reportedly replaced during current ownership. There are dings present on the driver’s side and passenger’s side, paint chips on the hood, and scuffs on the front bumper molding. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.

Silver 14″ bottle cap wheels are fitted with Montreal tires that were reportedly mounted in 2023. The car is equipped with an independent suspension and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with vented front rotors. Work performed in 2024 is said to have included repairing a power steering reservoir leak and replacing the rear shocks, strut mounts, lower control arms, tie rods, wheel bearings, and brake components.

The cabin features front sport seats upholstered in blue leather with BMW logo embroidery on the backrests. Interior amenities include air conditioning, an onboard computer, and power windows. The air conditioning was recharged in 2023 and the onboard computer screen, trunk light switch, and shift boot were replaced in 2024. The cassette stereo, cruise control, and central locking do not work, there is wear on the driver’s seat, and the A-pillar upholstery is loose.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts instrumentation including a 150-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 116k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Various instrument cluster bulbs do not work, the fuel gauge is inaccurate, the ABS light is illuminated, and the odometer gears were replaced in February 2024. True mileage is unknown.

The 2.5-liter M20 inline-six features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 168 horsepower and 164 lb-ft of torque. Work performed under current ownership is said to have included replacing the timing belt, battery, and oxygen sensor. The coolant level sensor plug is damaged.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. A Magnaflow exhaust system has been added.

Manufacturer’s literature will accompany the sale.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
