This 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet was fitted with a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 in 2020 and acquired by the seller in 2023. The car is finished in silver over black leather and is equipped with a six-speed manual transaxle, a body-color removable hardtop, a black soft top, lowering springs, Bilstein shock absorbers, and 18″ Carrera II wheels in addition to power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, and a Porsche CDR-220 stereo. This 996.1 cabriolet is offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name.

Finished from the factory in Artic Silver Metallic (L92U), the car received paintwork in 2020 and the seller states that the black convertible soft top was replaced in 2023. Additional exterior details include a body-color removable hardtop, aftermarket front and rear bumper covers, and quadruple black exhaust outlets. The deployable rear spoiler has been disabled, and paint blemishes from removed side skirts are viewable in the gallery below.

The 18″ Carrera II wheels are mounted with 235/40 front and 265/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car is equipped with lowering springs and Bilstein shock absorbers, and braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The seller notes low tread depth on the rear tires.

The power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in black leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. Appointments include driver seat position memory settings, automatic climate control, and a Porsche CDR-220 stereo. The cruise control is inoperative, the air conditioning switch needs to be held down for a few seconds to engage, and the parking brake switch does not work, though an auxiliary switch has been added to the center tunnel.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a central tachometer flanked by a 180-mph speedometer and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 93k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 is said to have been sourced from a Corvette and installed with a Renegade Hybrids kit in 2020. The seller notes that the air intake was modified and “shorty” exhaust heads were installed. Dyno tuning was performed by Tuners Inc. in Orange Park, Florida, in 2022.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage.
