This 1967 Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto was retrofitted with a 1.8L twin-cam inline-four before it was acquired by the current owners in 1998. Finished in red over black vinyl upholstery, the car is equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, 14″ Cromodora alloy wheels,  four-wheel disc brakes, a black soft top, a top boot, headlight covers, a driver-side mirror, and a heater. This Spider Duetto is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owners with spare hubcaps, a set of stock steel wheels with tires, and a clean Missouri title in the owners’ name.

The seller reports that the car was repainted in the factory shade of red under previous ownership following rust repairs to the rocker panels. Exterior details include stainless-steel bumpers, headlight covers, and a driver-side mirror. There are rust bubbles on the rear valance, right-rear wheel arch, and quarter panels. Flaking paint is shown near the left rear bumper, the top material is tight and there is a puncture above the right window, a chip is noted in the windshield, and photos of paint chips and imperfections are viewable in the gallery below.

Five-spoke 14″ Cromodora alloy wheels are wrapped in 195/70 Pirelli P4000 Super Touring tires. Braking is handled by discs at all four corners.

The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl with pleated inserts, and they are complemented by color-matching door panels and carpets. A Pininfarina badge accents the body-color dashboard, and the car is equipped with sun visors and a heater. Both seat bottoms have tears covered by tape, the vent window locks are missing from the glass, and the outer driver’s door handle is inoperative.

A three-spoke steering wheel fronts Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer, and supplementary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are mounted in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer has rolled over and now shows 11k miles. Approximately 12k miles were added during current ownership, and the total mileage is unknown.

The retrofitted 1.8L twin-cam inline-four is said to have been sourced from a 1969 Spider Veloce, and it was installed under previous ownership.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. There are patches and areas of rust-through in the floor pans, additional photos of which are presented in the gallery.

A set of stock steel wheels with tires and hubcaps is included in the sale.
