This 1983 Porsche 911SC coupe was purchased new by the seller’s relative from Manhattan Porsche in Rockville, Maryland, and it remained in that state until it was gifted to the seller in 2017. Showing 111k miles, the car is powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Pewter Metallic over Burgundy leather upholstery. Equipment includes 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels, a black convertible top, fog lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning, power windows, and cruise control. It was gifted to the seller in 2017, and work performed since 2023 has included repairing the fuel level and oil level gauges and replacing the convertible top, fuel pump, oil pressure sender, throttle linkage, and engine sound pad. This 911SC coupe is offered with the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Pewter Metallic and features a black convertible top that was replaced in 2023. Additional exterior details include fog lights, dual side mirrors, and rear bumperettes. The antenna does not work, there is a blemish on the windshield, and there are dings and scratches around the body. The 16″ Fuchs wheels were refinished in 2023 and are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated rotors. The right front wheel bearing was replaced in 2024.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in Burgundy leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, Porsche-branded floor mats, and power windows. The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 111k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership. The fuel level and oil level gauges were repaired in 2024.
The 3.0-liter flat-six features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 172 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque.
