This 1952 MG TD/C Mark II was refurbished under previous ownership before being acquired by the current owner in 2017. The car is finished in green with a tan soft top and features a louvered hood, rear-hinged doors, and 15″ steel wheels with polished hubcaps. A folding windshield with wind wings sits ahead of the cabin, which houses a split bench seat trimmed in beige leather. Power is supplied by a 1,250cc XPAG inline-four fitted with dual SU carburetors, while shifting is through a four-speed manual gearbox. This TD is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a driver’s handbook, a tan tonneau cover, and a clean Minnesota title in the owner’s name.

The car was repainted in green as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. A folding windshield sits ahead of the cabin and is fitted with a driver-side mirror along with wind wings. Additional mirrors are mounted to the cowl and fenders, while further details include a louvered hood, rear-hinged doors, running boards, and chrome bumpers with overriders. A tan soft top and tonneau cover will accompany the car, though the seller notes that the folding top is in poor condition.

The 15″ steel wheels wear polished hubcaps and are mounted with 165/80 Nexen SB-802 tires. A spare wheel with an older tire is affixed to the rear, and braking is handled by drums at each corner.

The cabin houses a split bench seat trimmed in beige leather accompanied by color-coordinated door panels. The dashboard wears contrasting vinyl trim, while the floors are lined with black carpets. Further details include a glovebox, door-mounted map pockets, and MG-branded door sill guards.

The banjo-style steering wheel is cracked and mounted on an adjustable column. It frames a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a combination water temperature and oil pressure gauge from Jaeger along with a Lucas ammeter. The clock inset within the tachometer does not work. The five-digit odometer shows 5k miles, approximately 1k miles of which have been added under current ownership. The seller states that total mileage is unknown.

The 1,250cc XPAG inline-four is equipped with dual SU carburetors. The seller notes a leak from the radiator.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox.

The data plate describes the car as a left-hand-drive TD model produced for the North American market. The car is titled using the engine number sequence—XPAGTD213811—shown above.
