This 1972 Triumph TR6 was refurbished under previous ownership before the seller’s acquisition in 2015. Subseqeunt work included installing a spin-on oil filter conversion, an oil cooler, and Crane electronic ignition on the 2.5-liter inline-six as well as overhauling the rear axle and brake system, refinishing the bodywork in British Racing Green, and replacing the rear bumper. Equipment includes dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, a four-speed overdrive manual transmission, front disc brakes, 15″ steel wheels, a black soft top, tan vinyl upholstery, a cabin heater, and an AM/FM stereo. This TR6 is offered with a BMIHT certificate, manuals, parts and service records, spare parts, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

All four fenders were replaced under previous ownership and the car was refinished in British Racing Green in 2018. Exterior details include a replacement black convertible top, door-mounted bullet-style side mirrors, a LeMans-style fuel filler cap, and chrome-finished bumpers. The seller notes blemishes on the chrome trim of the left taillight. A black top boot and tonneau cover accompany the car.

Silver 15″ steel wheels feature trim rings and are mounted with Primewell PS850 tires. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.

The bucket seats are upholstered in tan vinyl that extends to the door panels. Appointments include a cabin heater, a wood shift knob, rubber floor mats, and an AM/FM stereo. A crack is visible on the dashpad above the instrument cluster.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a wood-veneer dashboard that houses a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 66k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.5-liter inline-six was factory rated at 106 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque and features a silver-finished valve cover, a spin-on oil filter conversion, an oil cooler, Crane Fireball XR700 electronic ignition, and dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors. The engine bay was refinished under previous ownership with POR15, and the valve cover gasket was replaced in 2024.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive.

In-process refurbishment photos are presented in the gallery.

The current Pennsylvania title carries an “Antique” brand.
