This 1970 Porsche 914-6 was purchased by the seller in 1981 and has been modified for track use with the installation of a 3.0-liter twin-plug flat-six, dual oil coolers, a roll cage, aftermarket bodywork, coilovers, and 930 brakes. Finished in black over a matching interior, it is further equipped with a five-speed manual transaxle, 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels, electronic ignition, a removable Targa top, Hella auxiliary lights, a quick-release steering wheel, and RUF pedals. The engine was fitted with replacement piston rings and resealed in September 2024, and additional work at that time included refurbishing the cylinder heads, cleaning and coating the underside of the car, and refinishing the front spoiler and engine-compartment tins. This modified 914-6 is now offered with a track logbook and a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in black and has been fitted with steel rear fender flares, a carbon-fiber trunk lid, and a fiberglass hood and bumpers. Additional exterior details include Hella front auxiliary lights, a black removable Targa top, a driver-side mirror, front and rear tow hooks, an aluminum fuel-filler lid, and dual exhaust outlets in addition to a removable rear wing. The front spoiler was repaired and repainted in September 2024, and close-up photos of the finish are provided in the gallery below.

Fuchs 15″ wheels with black-finished centers are mounted with 205/60 Falken Ziex ZE912 tires that have 2010 production-date codes. Coilovers have been fitted to the reinforced suspension system, and 930-specification brakes have been added and feature slotted front and cross-drilled rear rotors.

The fixed-back bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl, and the dashboard and door panels are trimmed to match. A roll cage has been welded into place, and the interior is further appointed with latching lap belts, a fire extinguisher, a convex rearview mirror, a Rennline floorboard, RUF pedals, and an alloy shift knob.

The quick-release steering wheel frames a replacement AutoMeter 10k-rpm tachometer as well as combination gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The factory speedometer and odometer have been removed, therefore total mileage is unknown.

The replacement 3.0-liter twin-plug flat-six is equipped with twin-plug cylinder heads, dual carburetors, MSD electronic ignition, a Holley electric fuel pump, and three front-mounted oil coolers. Engine-out work in September 2024 consisted of refurbishing the heads and replacing the piston rings, seals, gaskets, oil tubes, and starter in addition to powder-coating the tins and mounts.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Work in September 2024 included dry-ice blasting the underside of the car and applying a Wurth undercoating as well as repairing and Cerakote-coating the exhaust system.

A Porsche Club of America logbook will accompany the car.
