This 2002 Chrysler Prowler was first delivered to Suburban Chrysler Jeep in Novi, Michigan, and it has 111 miles following registration history in Ontario and Michigan. The car spent most of its time in a collection prior to being purchased by its current owner in September 2016. Finished in Candy Red over Agate leather, the car is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes a matching Prowler Ajax trailer, staggered-diameter five-spoke wheels, a black convertible soft top, air conditioning, cruise control, an Infinity sound system, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and a six-disc CD changer. This Prowler is now offered by the seller on behalf of their father with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, a trailer cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in Candy Red and features split front and rear bumpers with integrated lights as well as cycle-style front fenders, dual exhaust outlets, and a black manually operated convertible top that stows in the rear-hinged trunk.
Chrome-finished five-spoke 17″ front and 20″ rear wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle GS-D tires. The suspension utilizes coilovers mounted inboard of the narrow front bodywork, and braking is from four-wheel ventilated discs.
The body-color Ajax Prowler utility trailer was an optional extra offered by Prowler dealers. The trailer features matching 15″ chrome-finished wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GTII tires, and it attaches to a receiver hitch bolted to the rear frame of the car. A chip is present on the trailer’s right fender.
The cockpit features bolstered bucket seats upholstered in Agate leather with embossed Prowler logos on the backrests along with color-matching door panels and carpets. The Autostick shifter allows manual gear selection of the automatic transaxle, and additional equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, an Infinity sound system, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and a six-disc CD changer.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an AutoMeter tachometer while a body-color instrument panel in the center of the dashboard houses a 150-mph speedometer and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 111 miles. A June 2010 entry on the Carfax report indicates a mileage reading of 93k.
The 3.5-liter V6 features an aluminum block and was factory rated at 253 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque. The car has not been serviced under current ownership, and the seller notes that the hood and trailer lid struts need to be replaced.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a torque tube and a rear-mounted four-speed automatic transaxle.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Suburban Chrysler Jeep in Novi, Michigan, along with factory equipment, colors, and a total price of $45,400.
The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage.
