This 1972 Triumph TR6 spent time in Pennsylvania before it was acquired by the seller in 2021. Finished in green over tan upholstery, the car is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. It is also equipped with a black soft top, dual mirrors, chrome-finished bumpers, 15″ steel wheels with bright trim rings, and a cabin heater. Work in 2023 included servicing the suspension, brakes, and dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors. This TR6 is offered with service records and a Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in green, and the seller notes evidence of paintwork under previous ownership. Exterior details include a black soft top, chrome-finished bumpers, and dual mirrors. The driver-side door is dinged and misaligned, and the windshield washer fluid sprayer and the high beam-low beam switch are inoperative.
Silver-finished 15″ steel wheels feature polished trim rings and are mounted with Coker redline tires. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.
The bucket seats are trimmed in tan and are complemented by beige door panels. Appointments include a heater, a locking glove compartment, and black dashboard pads.
The three-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket cover and sits ahead of a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 97k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. The Massachusetts title carries an “Odometer Discrepancy” brand, and total mileage is unknown.
The 2.5-liter inline-six produced 106 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque when new. The dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors were serviced in 2023, at which time a replacement valve cover gasket was fitted. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
The seller reports that various areas of the frame have been welded. Additional underside photos are presented in the gallery below.
The Massachusetts title lists a brand of “Odometer Discrepancy” and a title message of “Odom Discrepancy – Not Actual Mileage”.
