This 1979 MGB Roadster is said to have been initially sold through Wallace Imports in Phoenix, Arizona, and had one additional owner in the state until the seller’s acquisition in 2020. Now showing 15k miles, it is powered by a 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in Leyland White over black vinyl and patterned cloth. Equipment includes a black soft top, a single Stromberg carburetor, front disc brakes, 14″ Rostyle wheels, a luggage rack, a cabin heater, and a cassette stereo. Work in preparation for the sale included changing the oil, flushing the coolant, and replacing the water pump, thermostat, belt, and hoses. This MGB is offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Leyland White and features a black soft top, door-mounted side mirrors, a trunk-mounted luggage rack, and black rubber bumpers. The side anchors for the soft top are missing as shown in a video in the gallery and the right front fender is believed to have been refinished under previous ownership. A black top boot and tonneau cover accompany the car.

Silver-finished Rostyle 14″ steel wheels are mounted with Barum Brillantis 2 tires manufactured in 2018. A spare wheel and tire are stowed in the trunk. The factory suspension featured a raised ride height, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The brake fluid was flushed in 2024

The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl with patterned cloth seating surfaces that were a dealer-installed option in the car’s initial Arizona market. Appointments include a cabin heater, a center console, rubber floor mats, and a cassette stereo.

The four-spoke wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 15k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The 1.8-liter inline-four features a single Stromberg carburetor. Service in September 2024 included changing the oil, flushing the coolant, and replacing the water pump, thermostat, accessory drive belt, heater hoses, and coolant hoses.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
