This 2002 Porsche Boxster has 28k miles and is finished in Zanzibar Red over black partial leather. It is powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is said to have remained with its previous owner between California and Arizona for 21 years before the selling dealer’s recent acquisition. Equipment includes the Sport Package, a black soft top, 17″ Boxster-Design wheels, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and a Bluetooth-capable Kenwood stereo. Work in 2020 included replacing the IMS bearing, clutch, water pump, flywheel, and more as detailed below. This 986 Boxster is now offered in Pennsylvania by the selling dealer with service records, manufacturer’s literature, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title.

The car is finished in Zanzibar Red and features a power-operated black soft top as well as a speed-activated rear spoiler, side air intakes, and roll hoops.

The 17″ Boxster-Design wheels are mounted with Hankook tires. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over vented rotors at all four corners. Records indicate that the rear strut assemblies and front and rear brake rotors, pads, and sensors were replaced in September 2018 at 25k miles.

The black interior features leather-trimmed seats as well as a Bluetooth-capable Kenwood stereo, cruise control, a Hi-Fi sound system, deployable cupholders, and automatic climate control.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a central tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 28k miles.

The mid-mounted 2.7L flat-six was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. Records indicate that the IMS bearing, rear main seal, water pump, and low-temperature thermostat were replaced in February 2020.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle, the clutch disc, pressure plate, release bearing, and dual-mass flywheel for which were replaced in February 2020.
