This 1995 Ferrari F355 Spider underwent a refurbishment process that was started in November 2018 and totaled approximately $81k. Work included overhauling the 3.5-liter DOHC V8, adding a Challenge-style muffler, refurbishing the soft top, paintwork, and reconditioning the cabin. The car is finished in Verde Inglese over tan leather, and shifting is through a gated six-speed manual transaxle paired with a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels, pop-up headlights, automatic climate control, an Alpine head unit, and drilled aluminum pedals. Purchased by its current owner in October 2022, this F355 Spider shows 43k miles and is now offered by the selling dealer with service records, a tool kit, a spare muffler, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Verde Inglese, and styling elements include pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, an integrated rear decklid spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels. Work in September 2022 included replacing the soft top’s upholstery and lifter control unit as well as repainting the nose, rocker panels, and wheel arches. The hydraulic cylinders are said to have also been replaced at that time.
The 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels were refinished in September 2022. They are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position tires, which show date codes from 2015, per a service record viewable in the gallery. Ferrari-branded brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs at each corner.
The cabin features sport seats trimmed in tan leather, and matching leather extends to the center console, door panel inserts, and lower half of the dashboard. Amenities include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, an Alpine head unit, and drilled aluminum pedals. Sticky buttons were refinished in March 2016. The air conditioning system was recharged in September 2022, at which time the dash leather was repaired and the door panels were refreshed.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 43k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication for a factory-rated output of 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. The engine was overhauled in November 2018 by Ferrari of San Francisco in San Francisco, California. Work at that time included resurfacing the cylinder heads, a valve job, and replacing gaskets and O2 sensors as well as the timing belt, water pump, accessory belts, and catalytic converters. A Challenge-style muffler was fitted and the battery was replaced in September 2022. The removed muffler is included in the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage.
