This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is finished in white over Saddle leather upholstery and is powered by a 427ci V8 that is backed by a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential. The car has a black soft top as well as a body-color removable hardtop, and additional features include 15″ Rally wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, side-exit exhaust pipes, an AM/FM radio, and lap belts. This C2 was purchased by the seller in 2018 and is now offered with the owner’s manual, partial service records, a spare fuel tank, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The fiberglass body left the factory finished in Ermine White, and the seller notes evidence of prior paintwork on the door jamb. A side-exit exhaust system with head shields is installed, and the car has a black soft top, a body-color removable hardtop, and a stinger hood with black accents.
The 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with Firestone Super Sport redline tires. The car features a fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs.
The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in Saddle leather as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, a vertical push-button AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.
The woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 60k miles, approximately 800 of which were added under current ownership.
The 427ci V8 is equipped with three two-barrel carburetors and was factory rated at 435 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
The engine stamping is shown above. The JE suffix corresponds with a 427ci V8 that was equipped with triple Holley carburetors and paired with a manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential.
