This 1992 Mazda MX-5 Miata Special Edition shows 63k miles and was optioned with a five-speed manual transmission, which is paired with a 1.6-liter DOHC inline-four. Finished in Brilliant Black with a tan convertible soft top over tan leather upholstery, the car has 14″ BBS wheels, a rear luggage rack, pop-up headlights, a Nardi shift knob, an aftermarket head unit, air conditioning, a convertible top boot, power windows, and cruise control. This Special Edition NA Miata was acquired by the current owner in 2024 and is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, a Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the current owner’s name.

The car is finished in Brilliant Black and has a replacement tan soft top that was installed in preparation for the sale. Additional details include a chrome rear luggage rack, pop-up headlights, chrome door handles, painted mirror caps, a convertible top boot, a power antenna, and a single exhaust outlet. An accident with another motor vehicle is listed in a January 2019 entry of the Carfax report. The body has dents, paint chips, scuffs, and scratches.

The 14″ BBS wheels are mounted with Falken Sincera tires. The car is equipped with an independent double wishbone suspension, front and rear stabilizer bars, and four-wheel disc brakes. Curb damage is located on the right-front wheel, and replacement rear brake pads were installed in May 2024.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in tan leather along with color-coordinated door panels as well as a black upper dashboard and center console. Interior appointments include a Nardi shift knob, stainless-steel scuff plates, an aftermarket head unit, headrest speakers, air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows. The driver’s seat is damaged, and wear is visible on the shift knob and handbrake lever.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 63k miles.

The 1.6-liter DOHC inline-four was factory rated at 116 horsepower and 100 lb-ft of torque. Work in preparation for the sale included changing the oil, flushing the coolant, and replacing the clutch fluid.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident.
