2008 Porsche Boxster S Limited Edition 6-Speed

This 2008 Porsche Boxster S is #228 of 250 Limited Edition examples produced for the model year, all of which were finished in orange over black leather and Alcantara. The car spent time in Georgia, Texas, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kansas before the current owner’s 2023 purchase, and they have since added approximately 1k of the 63k indicated miles. It is powered by a 3.4-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and is equipped with the Sport Chrono and Bose High-End Sound packages as well as a black soft top, 19″ Carrera S wheels, a speed-dependent rear spoiler, and heated seats. This 987.1 Boxster S Limited Edition is now offered with a clean New Jersey title in the owner’s name.

The car is finished in orange and features a power-operated black convertible top, black quarter panel intakes, body-color roll bars, a speed-dependent rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller states that the rear control module and convertible top arms were replaced and the top drains were cleaned in October 2023. Clear paint protection film covers the nose, mirror caps, and door jambs. The Carfax report notes that the vehicle was stolen in September 2019 before being recovered nine days later. The seller states that the rear bumper and front spoiler were repainted in preparation for the sale, and they note a chip in the windshield and scratches in the left door jamb.

Black 19″ Carrera S wheels with lighter outer rims are mounted with Continental tires. The suspension has been lowered, and the car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM). Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors measuring 12.5″ and 11.8″ front and rear, respectively.

The cabin features heated seats upholstered in black leather and Alcantara along with body-color trim. Amenities include the Sport Chrono and Bose High-End Sound packages as well as a CDR24 stereo, a remote six-disc CD changer, air conditioning, and cruise control. The seller notes wear on the Alcantara shifter trim and boot.

The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel frames a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 190-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Wear is noted on the steering wheel rim. The digital odometer indicates 63k miles, fewer than 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.4L flat-six is located ahead of the rear cargo area and was factory rated at 295 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque. The seller states that the spark plugs and ignition coils were replaced in October 2023.
