This 1972 Triumph TR6 was acquired by the seller in 2024, reportedly from its first owner following a period of disuse. Subsequent work involved overhauling the carburetors, adjusting the valves, and replacing the water pump, wheels, tires, brake components, clutch hydraulic cylinders, and interior trim pieces. Power is provided by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in white over Chestnut vinyl upholstery and equipped with a replacement black convertible top, a roll bar, and a luggage rack. This TR6 is now offered with a black tonneau cover, a BMIHT certificate, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in white and equipped with a replacement black soft top, a Chestnut top boot, a roll bar, and a rear luggage rack. Dings on the hood as well as paint chips, dents, and areas of touched-up paint around the body are noted.

Silver 15″ steel wheels were refinished in preparation for the sale and fitted with 205/70 Fullway HP108 tires. Additional components replaced under current ownership are said to include the brakes, upper ball joints, tie rod ends, front stabilizer link bushings, and rear shocks.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in Chestnut vinyl. The seller notes that the seat supports, door panels, and interior trim pieces have been replaced.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 42k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.5-liter inline-six is equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, which the seller states were overhauled under current ownership. Additional service following the seller’s acquisition involved adjusting the valves and throttle linkage, changing the oil, cleaning the fuel tank, and replacing the water pump, alternator belt, coolant hoses, and ignition components.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The seller reports that the clutch master cylinder was rebuilt and components replaced under current ownership include the clutch hydraulics, transmission mount and rear seal, and differential pinion seal and mounts. The exhaust system was also painted and fitted with a replacement muffler and hardware. The seller notes an oil leak from the transmission rear seal and hydraulic fluid seepage emanating from the clutch master cylinder.

The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate lists a production date of July 7, 1972, along with identification numbers and equipment. Photos depicting identification numbers are presented in the gallery below.
