This 2004 Porsche Boxster S is #1,626 of 1,953 examples produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Porsche’s 550 Spyder, and it was first delivered to Pacific Porsche in Torrance, California. It was purchased new by the seller, and it has 18k miles. Finished in GT Silver Metallic over Dark Gray Natural leather, the car is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a power-operated black soft top, 18″ Carrera wheels, a speed-activated rear spoiler, heated power-adjustable sport seats, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, and roll hoops. This 986 Boxster S 550 Anniversary Edition is now offered with a window sticker, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, the owner’s manual, service records, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The 550 Anniversary Edition featured revised bumper covers, body-color side air intakes, and stacked center exhaust outlets, and all were finished in GT Silver Metallic. Additional features include a power-operated black convertible top with a rear defroster as well as xenon headlights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and body-color roll hoops. Clear side marker lenses have been added. Scratches are present on the underside of the front bumper cover.

The 18″ Carrera wheels feature gray spokes and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport N3 tires, which show date codes from 2014. The car is equipped with sport suspension and Porsche Stability Management, and braking is handled by silver four-piston calipers over cross-drilled rotors. The dampers and shock mounts were replaced in September 2024, at which time the brake and power steering fluids were changed.

The heated power-adjustable sport seats feature body-color backs and are upholstered in Dark Gray Natural leather. Amenities include a CD stereo, a Bose sound system, a wind deflector, cruise control, and automatic climate control. Photos included in the gallery detail the condition of the interior surfaces.

A serialized plate ahead of the painted center console denotes the car as #1,626 of 1,953 Anniversary Edition examples produced.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 18k miles.

The mid-mounted 3.2L flat-six was factory rated at 264 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. The front hood struts were replaced in March 2021, and the oil was changed in September 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle. The transaxle fluid was changed in September 2024.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Pacific Porsche in Torrance, California, along with factory equipment, colors, and a total price of $63,525. A Porsche Certificate of Authenticity is viewable in the gallery, and it lists a production completion date of May 12, 2004.

The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage.
