This 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL was previously acquired as a non-running project and underwent refurbishment work from 2007 to 2008. Service since 2023 has involved rebuilding the mechanical fuel injection pump, performing bodywork, and replacing the tires and battery. The car is finished in metallic beige and is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a removable white hardtop, 14″ steel wheels, polished hubcaps, a Blaupunkt push-button radio, a heater, and beige leather upholstery. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this W113 SL is now offered with partial service records and a Pennsylvania title.

The W113 SL was designed by Friedrich Geiger, Béla Barényi, and Paul Bracq and was introduced to the public at the 1963 Geneva Motor Show. This example was refinished in metallic beige in 2008 and is equipped with a white removable hardtop, US-specification headlights and side markers, and chrome bumpers. The right rear taillight is cracked, and there is a blemish on the right rear bumper. Rust repair to the floor pans was performed in preparation for the sale, and the selling dealer notes that the beige soft top needs to be replaced.

Steel 14″ wheels with polished hubcaps are mounted with P185/75 Pirelli P400 tires that were installed in preparation for the sale. Braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs. The steering box was replaced in 2008, and two tie rod ends were replaced under current ownership.

The cabin houses bucket seats that were reupholstered in beige leather under prior ownership, and the sun visors were replaced in preparation for the sale. Interior appointments include a push-button Blaupunkt radio, an analog clock, a floor-mounted gear shifter, and a heater.

The two-spoke white steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames a 220-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 27k kilometers (~17k miles). Total mileage is unknown.

The 2.5-liter M129 inline-six was factory equipped with Bosch fuel injection and was overhauled in 2007. Work in 2023 involved rebuilding the mechanical fuel injection pump and replacing the fuel pump at the tank. The battery was replaced by the selling dealer.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.

The Pennsylvania title carries a “Mileage Exceeds the Mechanical Limits” notation.
