This 2001 Porsche Boxster S is finished in Biarritz White over red leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes replacement sport seats, an aftermarket exhaust system, 18″ SportDesign wheels, a replacement black soft top, a deployable rear spoiler, a Hi-Fi sound system, cruise control, and an aftermarket stereo. The car spent time in Texas and Colorado before the seller’s 2021 purchase, and they have since added approximately 1k of the 66k indicated miles. This 986 Boxster S is now offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, a car cover, accessories, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Biarritz White and features a replacement black soft top said to have been installed in 2020. Additional features include a speed-activated rear spoiler, side air intakes, and roll hoops. The Carfax report notes that the roof sustained “very minor damage” in June 2017 with no additional information provided.

The 18″ SportDesign wheels are mounted with Sumitomo tires. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.

Red leather-trimmed sport seats said to have been sourced from a 911 were installed during the seller’s ownership. Other interior features include a Hi-Fi sound system, cruise control, automatic climate control, and an aftermarket stereo with voice control. The power function of the seats has not been connected.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a central tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 66k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.2L flat-six was factory rated at 250 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle. An LN Engineering IMS bearing was installed in July 2020, at which time the clutch components and flywheel were also replaced.

An aftermarket exhaust system is installed, and the car most recently passed a California emissions inspection in June 2023.

Decoding the option sticker reveals the following information:

  • L9A2 – Biarritz White paint
  • C02 – Version for USA
  • 239 – Internal production code related to tires
  • 413 – 18″ 993 Turbo-look wheels
  • 454 – Cruise control
  • 490 – Hi-Fi sound system
  • 502 – Produced at Valmet plant in Uusikaupunki, Finland
  • 551 – Wind deflector
  • 584 – Storage box (incl. speakers) on engine cover
  • 696 – CD-radio Becker Porsche CDR-220

The Carfax report notes the aforementioned damage entry and at least one recall.
