This 1998 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is one of 1,163 Indy Pace Car Edition examples produced to commemorate the model’s use as the pace car for the 1998 running of the Indianapolis 500. It has 4,500 miles, and it has spent most of its time in collections and registered in southern states. It is powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and is finished in Pace Car Purple Metallic over black and yellow leather. Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, yellow-finished 17″ and 18″ five-spoke wheels, a limited-slip differential, power-adjustable seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a CD stereo, a Bose sound system, and cruise control. The car is finished in Pace Car Purple Metallic and features yellow stripes, red accents, and Indy Pace Car decals as well as a black convertible soft top, pop-up headlights, fog lights, a Corvette-branded front plate cover, and quad exhaust outlets.
