This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was refurbished in 2020 and is powered by a fuel-injected 327ci L84 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Finished in white over blue vinyl upholstery, the car is equipped with a blue convertible soft top, a body-color hardtop, 15″ turbine-style wheels, concealed headlights, and an AM/FM radio. This C2 convertible was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and is now offered with a book documenting the refurbishment, a set of removed wheels, and a clean Florida title.
The fiberglass body left the factory finished in Ermine White (936) and was refinished as part of the refurbishment in 2020. The car is equipped with a replacement blue convertible soft top as well as a body-color hardtop, flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, and chrome bumperettes.
Turbine-style 15″ wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich redline tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums.
The cabin houses bucket seats upholstered in blue along with color-matching door panels and carpets. Appointments include an AM/FM radio, a heater, an analog clock, and lap belts.
The woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 61k miles, a handful of which were added under current ownership.
The 327ci L84 V8 featured factory fuel injection, a high-lift camshaft, and a rated output of 375 horsepower when new.
The engine stamping is shown above, and the RF suffix corresponds with a 375-horsepower, 327ci V8 for use with a manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
