This 2003 BMW Z4 3.0i roadster is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and it now has 78k miles. Finished in black over Dream Red leather upholstery, the car is equipped with the Sport and Premium packages as well as 18″ ellipsoid Style 107 alloy wheels, Bilstein front struts, a black soft top, bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, heated power-adjustable seats, a ZHP shift knob, carbon-look interior accents, cruise control, and air conditioning. Acquired by the seller in 2021, this E85 roadster is now offered at no reserve with service records, two keys, a Carfax report, and a clean Maryland title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in black and features a black soft top, bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, illuminating front fender roundels, and polished exhaust outlets. An April 2016 entry in the Carfax report lists damage to the left front, side, and rear portions of the vehicle, though no additional information is provided. The car is said to have been “clipped” in a parking lot under previous ownership and paintwork was subsequently performed. A replacement convertible top motor installed in 2021 was relocated to the trunk, and the top was converted for manual operation as a result of leaks in the top hydraulic lift cylinder hinges. The left fog light lens is cracked, and paint chips and blemishes are present on the front end.

The 18″ ellipsoid Style 107 alloy wheels wear 225/40 front and 255/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The optional Sport Package added a sport suspension, and Bilstein front struts were added in June 2023 along with replacement front strut mounts and bump stops. The car is also equipped with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with All Season Traction. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs, and the brake pads and sensors were replaced in 2017, approximately just under 10k miles ago. The right-rear wheel speed sensor was replaced in June 2024.

The heated power-adjustable seats are upholstered in Dream Red leather along with a matching center armrest and door panel inserts. A carbon-look wrap has been applied to the center console and door panel accents, and an auxiliary input, a ZHP shift knob, and a clutch pedal stop have been added. Interior amenities include driver’s seat memory settings, brushed aluminum dashboard trim, a CD stereo, a premium sound system, cruise control, air conditioning, and replacement floor mats. The Sport Package adds buttons for Dynamic Driving Control, which provides Normal and Sport modes for the throttle and steering. The bottom of the left door pull is loose, the stereo system intermittently loses power, the left sun visor is missing, and interior trim blemishes are viewable in the gallery below.

A three-spoke sport steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 78k miles, approximately 7,500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.0-liter M54B30 inline-six was factory rated at 225 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque. The starter was replaced in 2021, and service in 2023 consisted of replacing the water pump, thermostat upper radiator hose, coolant expansion tank, and air conditioning compressor. The valve cover gasket was replaced by the seller in June 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. A September 2021 service invoice from VAC Motorsports indicates that the clutch safety switch was disabled, with a mechanic note stating “…need to check clutch switch.”

The Carfax report lists the aforementioned damage.
