This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette was purchased by the seller’s father in 1971 and was inherited by the seller in 2018. Refurbishment work completed in 1982 is said to have included repainting the body in blue and white as well as re-trimming the interior using black upholstery and brown carpeting. Power is provided by a replacement 283ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and the car is equipped with a white convertible top, a Wonder-Bar AM radio, a four-barrel carburetor, a dual exhaust system, and 15″ steel wheels with spinner-style caps. This C1 Corvette is now offered with spare cylinder heads, three spare hubcaps, a spare speedometer, a car cover, and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.

The car was previously brown and was repainted blue with white coves in the early 1980s. Features include a white convertible soft top, windshield washers, split chrome bumpers, fender vents, and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear bumper corners. Wrinkling in the soft top is visible in the gallery below along with paint chips on various panels.

The 15″ steel wheels feature spinner-style covers and are mounted with 215/75 Co-Op Custom Glass Belted Radial tires. The car came equipped from the factory with an independent front suspension and semi-elliptical rear leaf springs.

The cabin features two bucket seats trimmed in Black vinyl along with a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Equipment includes a Wonder Bar AM radio, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and brown carpets.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a sweeping 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, battery charge, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 94k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.

The replacement 283ci V8 was reportedly installed in 1971 and features a four-barrel carburetor that was rebuilt in 2020 according to the seller.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.
