This 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL was initially registered in New Jersey and later relocated to Florida where it was purchased by the seller in August 2012 and moved to New York. The car is finished in Black over Palomino leather and is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. A repair to the speedometer was performed in July 2022, and while the six-digit odometer shows 79k miles, total mileage is unknown.
The 5.5-liter V8 was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque. The fuel pump and filter were replaced in October 2022, while the thermostat and the engine oil were replaced in May 2024.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission fluid was replaced in May 2024.
