This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible underwent refurbishment work that was completed in 2021 and involved a repaint in green and a refresh of the tan interior. The overbored L79 V8 is backed by a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential. Additional features include a removable hardtop, a white soft top, 15″ turbine-style wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, side-exit exhaust pipes, leather upholstery, a cabin heater, an AM/FM radio, chrome bumpers, and retractable headlights. This C2 was purchased by the current owner in 2024 and is now offered in Florida with a photo of the partial tank sticker, an NCRS Shipping Data Report, refurbishment records, and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
The fiberglass body left the factory finished in Goodwood Green (983) and was repainted during the refurbishment. The brightwork was refinished and a side-exit exhaust system was installed. Additional features include a body-color removable hardtop, a white soft top, a domed hood, retractable headlights, and a driver-side mirror.
Turbine-style 15″ wheels are mounted with Firestone redline tires. The car features a fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The cabin was refreshed prior to the seller’s acquisition with replacement foam and tan leather upholstery on the bucket seats and replacement carpets. The instrument cluster, push-button AM radio, and analog clock were also refurbished.
The woodgrain-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 4,400 miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The seller notes that the 327ci L79 V8 was overhauled in 2020 and bored .040″ over. A Holley four-barrel carburetor is fitted.
The engine stamping is shown above. The HT suffix corresponds with a 350-horsepower, 327ci L79 V8 for use with a manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential.
