No Reserve: 21k-Kilometer 1998 Jaguar XK8 Convertible

This 1998 Jaguar XK8 convertible was produced for the Mexican market, and it shows registration history in California beginning in July 2001. Now indicating 21k kilometers (~13k miles), the car is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and is finished in British Racing Green over Cashmere leather. Equipment includes a beige convertible soft top, 17″ Revolver alloy wheels, fog lights, heated power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, and a cassette stereo with a six-disc CD changer. This XK8 is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a service invoice, a Jaguar-branded cellular telephone, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The car is finished in British Racing Green (HGD) and features a beige convertible soft top as well as fog lights, a power antenna, and polished exhaust outlets. The third brake light assembly was replaced in July 2024.

The 17″ Revolver alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli Asimmetrico tires. The car is equipped with traction and stability control, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. The front brake pads and the brake fluid were replaced in July 2024.

The seating surfaces are upholstered in Cashmere leather (SDZ), and the cabin features a color-coordinated lower dashboard and door panels as well as wood veneer trim. Other amenities include heated power-adjustable front seats with memory settings for the driver as well as automatic climate control, cruise control, and a cassette stereo with a six-disc CD changer. The included Jaguar-branded cellular telephone mounts within the center console. The right-rear window regulator was replaced in July 2024.

The leather- and wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 280-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,750-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 21k kilometers (~13k miles).

The 4.0-liter AJ V8 was factory rated at 290 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. The schrader valve was replaced, the air conditioning was recharged, and an oil change was performed in July 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed automatic transmission.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage, and lists an initial entry in July 2001.
