This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was sold new from Cliff Bristow Motors of Three Hills, Alberta, Canada, and the seller acquired it on BaT in August 2023 and imported it into the US. The car was refurbished under prior ownership and it is powered by a 427ci L36 V8 linked to a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential with 3.08:1 gearing. The body is finished in silver over black leather upholstery and equipment includes a black soft top, a removable hardtop covered in black vinyl, 15″ Rally wheels, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, and a Ridetech rear monospring and front sway bar as well as a side-exit dual exhaust system. The battery, brake master cylinder, power steering control valve, and fuel-level sensor were replaced under current ownership. This C3 is now offered with removed parts, Vintage Vehicle Services documentation, and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.
The car left the factory in Cortez Silver (986), and refurbishment work under previous ownership included a repaint as well as covering the removable hardtop in black vinyl. Details include a black convertible soft top, 427 hood badging, fender vents, flip-up headlamps, chrome bumpers, and side-exit exhaust pipes with polished covers.
The 15″ Rally wheels feature polished trim rings and center caps and are mounted with 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The ride height has been lowered, and the fully independent suspension features a Ridetech rear monospring and front sway bar. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted discs at each corner, and the car is equipped with power steering. The brake master cylinder and power steering control valve and hoses.
The cabin features bucket seats reupholstered in black leather, and details include a center console with badging that displays engine statistics as well as a cabin heater and a Custom Autosound stereo with an auxiliary input. Speakers are mounted in the rear compartment, and the removed stereo unit will accompany the car. Blemishes in the passenger-side door weather stripping are shown in the gallery.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,600-rpm redline, while auxiliary gauges for fuel level, battery charge, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 40k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 427ci L36 V8 was factory rated at 390 horsepower and is fitted with an aluminum intake manifold with Winters markings as well as a polished air cleaner, distributor surround, and valve covers. The battery was replaced in December 2023, and the seller notes that the fuel sending unit was replaced in March 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed TH400 automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential with 3.08:1 gearing. A bolt-in transmission crossmember is fitted.
