This 2016 Porsche Boxster Spyder is powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Carrara White Metallic over Garnet Red leather with black Alcantara inserts. Equipment includes the Spyder Classic Interior and Infotainment packages as well as a black bikini-style soft top, heated adaptive Sport Seats Plus, 20″ Spyder wheels, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a Bose surround-sound system, an extended-range fuel tank, and bi-xenon headlights with PDLS. Recently acquired by the selling dealer, this 981 Boxster Spyder has 11k miles and is now offered with a DME report, a car cover, a service record, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title.

The Spyder features front and rear styling shared with the contemporary Cayman GT4 as well as a manually folding black soft top that stows beneath the double-hump rear clamshell. This example is finished in Carrara White Metallic with a black soft top and is equipped with bi-xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) as well as a speed-activated rear spoiler, SportDesign mirrors, side air intakes, tinted taillights, center-exit sport tailpipes, rain-sensing wipers, and auto-dimming mirrors. Photos of paint meter readings are provided in the gallery below.

The 20″ Spyder alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 235/35 up front and 265/35 out back. Braking is handled by four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated discs with red-painted Porsche-branded calipers. Boxster Spyders were equipped from the factory with a 20mm lower sport suspension than the standard Boxster. An electromechanical steering rack that was shared with the contemporary 911 Turbo was also fitted as standard.

The cockpit features heated 18-way power-adjustable adaptive Sport Seats Plus upholstered in Garnet Red leather with black Alcantara inserts along with a color-coordinated dash, center console, and door panels. Other interior details comprise a rearview camera, a Bose surround-sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, a wind deflector, Bluetooth connectivity, and illuminated Spyder-branded stainless-steel door sill guards.

The Alcantara-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 7,600-rpm redline as well as a 200-mph speedometer and a digital display. The digital odometer indicates 11k miles.

The rear cargo area covers the mid-mounted 3.8L flat-six, which was shared with the contemporary 991 Carrera S and was factory rated at 375 horsepower and 309 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. A larger 16.9-gallon fuel tank was optioned from the factory, and the engine oil was changed in preparation for the sale.

A car cover, a DME report, manufacturer’s literature, and a service record are included in the sale.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
