This 1992 Porsche 911 America Roadster is one of the 250 built during a two-year production run to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the 356 America Roadster. It is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a G50 five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in black over Light Gray leather upholstery. Equipment includes a Steve Wong Chips ECU tune, 17″ Cup alloy wheels, a black soft top, a speed-activated rear spoiler, power-adjustable seats, air conditioning, and an aftermarket audio system. The car was previously listed on BaT in August 2019 and was acquired by the current owner in 2022. This 911 America Roadster shows 56k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with the owner’s manual, recent service records, and a clean New Jersey title in the name of the owner.

The America Roadster was a widebody variant of the 964 cabriolet, and the Turbo-look body is finished in black (L700) with a black soft top and wears “Roadster” badging on the engine lid. The seller believes the car was repainted under previous ownership, and the Carfax report shows a sideswipe accident in April 2004. Stitching around the rear window is coming loose, and stains along with tears in the soft top corners are noted.

Staggered-width 17″ Cup alloy wheels are mounted with 205/50 front and 255/40 rear Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires showing date codes from 2018 and 2017, respectively. The car shared braking and suspension components with the contemporary Turbo model.

The power-adjustable seats are upholstered in Light Gray leather and are complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, omitted rear seats, power accessories, a Sony CD stereo, and JL Audio speakers. The parking brake spring and high-note horn were replaced in October 2022.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline flanked by a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 56k miles, approximately 700 of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.6-liter flat-six was factory rated at 247 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque and has been modified with a Steve Wong Chips ECU tune. The battery was replaced and an oil change was performed in October 2022.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a G50 five-speed manual transaxle. The clutch components were replaced in October 2022.

The Carfax report lists the aforementioned accident in 2004.
