This 1998 BMW M3 convertible is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Titanium Silver Metallic with a black soft top over black Nappa leather, it has a limited-slip differential, 17″ Style 39 wheels, fog lights, heated and power-adjustable front seats, an onboard computer, and a Harman Kardon sound system. The car was acquired on BaT in December 2022 by the seller, who reports the camshaft position sensor and tires were replaced in 2024. This E36 M3 convertible has 44k miles and is offered at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.

Equipment includes a power-operated convertible top, dual exhaust outlets, and factory aerodynamic bumpers, side sills, and mirror caps. The right door latch does not operate remotely; the rear bumper has a scuff; corrosion is noted below the rear decklid; and dents are located on the left-front fender, hood, and left door.

The staggered-width 17″ Style 39 wheels were mounted in May 2024 with 225/45 front and 245/40 rear Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus tires. A sport-tuned suspension, traction control, and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes are additional elements.

The heated and power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in black Nappa leather, and the cabin has dual-zone automatic climate control, a Harman Kardon sound system, and a cassette stereo linked with a trunk-mounted CD changer. A loose portion of the headliner is noted.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 44k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, and it sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The camshaft position sensor was replaced in January 2024 according to the seller, who notes the oil was most recently changed in July 2024.
