This 1968 Ford Mustang convertible was acquired in 1998 by its current owner, who subsequently commissioned refurbishment work and modifications. The car wears Candy Apple red paintwork and black upholstery, and the replacement 351ci V8 is linked to a three-speed automatic transmission. Keystone alloy wheels, a TCI Automotive oil pan, an aluminum radiator, and MSD ignition have been installed, and the car also has a black soft top, an Alpine stereo, front and rear sway bars, traction bars, headers, and a dual exhaust system. This Mustang convertible is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Massachusetts title.

The selling dealer states the car was disassembled, mounted on a rotisserie, and repainted Candy Apple Red. The black soft top is shown in its raised position above.

The 15″ Keystone alloy wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires up front and Mickey Thompson tires out back. The car has front disc brakes and traction bars as well as front and rear sway bars.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. An Alpine CD stereo has been installed in the color-coordinated dashboard.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage. The five-digit odometer has rolled over and now shows 41k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership.

The replacement 351ci Windsor V8 was reportedly sourced from a 1970s Ford and has a K&N open-element air filter, JEGS valve covers, and MSD ignition. The tubular headers are linked to a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. A Monte Carlo bar spans the engine bay.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission with a TCI Automotive pan.

The car is titled to VIN 8T03C122149 as shown on the fender apron. The warranty tag on the door is a replacement from another car.
