This 1971 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster is finished in British Racing Green over black leather and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller purchased the car in 2017 and has since had the engine resealed. The five-digit odometer shows 60k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer cable is broken, and the total mileage is unknown.
The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and rated at 245 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque when new. It has been fitted with an electronic ignition and a spin-on oil filter conversion. Service between 2018 and 2021 reportedly included resealing the engine, changing the oil, and changing the transmission fluid.
