This 1971 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster is finished in British Racing Green over black leather and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a black soft top, a louvered clamshell hood, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, 15″ wire wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and an AM/FM radio. The seller purchased the car in 2017 and has since had the engine resealed. This XKE roadster is now offered with a 2009 Antique Automobile Club of America Senior National first prize and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in British Racing Green, and exterior equipment includes halogen driving lamps, a replacement black soft top, a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, bright trim, a louvered clamshell hood, and dual exhaust outlets.

The 15″ wire wheels are secured by three-lobed knockoffs and are mounted with 205/70 Kelly Edge A/S tires. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors. Service between 2018 and 2021 has reportedly included replacing the power steering rack and installing the tires.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leather along with a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets. The car is equipped with air conditioning though it does not blow cold.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 60k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer cable is broken, and the total mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and rated at 245 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque when new. It has been fitted with an electronic ignition and a spin-on oil filter conversion. Service between 2018 and 2021 reportedly included resealing the engine, changing the oil, and changing the transmission fluid.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
