This 1957 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider has remained registered in California since the seller’s acquisition in 2002 and is described as a non-running project. Finished in white over black vinyl upholstery, the car is equipped with a 1,290cc twin-cam inline-four fitted with a Solex carburetor and mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Further details include a black soft top and Veglia instrumentation along with finned front drum brakes and 15” Fergat-style wheels. Service in March 2021 is said to have involved replacing the fuel pump and line along with the brake cylinders. This 750D Giulietta Spider is now offered with a collection of accessories, recent service records, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The Pininfarina-designed body was refinished in white under previous ownership and features a black soft top, a split chrome front bumper, a left mirror, quarter vent windows, and a chrome grille, headlight surrounds, and body side molding. The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl joined by matching door panels. The floors are protected by carpeted mats, and additional appointments include a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a glove compartment, and manually operated windows. Cracks are visible in the door seals.
The two-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring sits ahead of a body-color metal dashboard housing faded Veglia instrumentation that includes a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset oil-pressure gauge flanked by a 180-km/h speedometer and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 51k kilometers (~32k miles), approximately 15k of which were added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
