This 1965 Ford Mustang is an A-code 289 convertible that was refurbished over the past 15 years. The car was repainted in 2008, and between 2021 and 2022 the brake system was overhauled, the three-speed automatic transmission was rebuilt, and the top-end of the motor was refreshed. It has been modified with a dual-circuit master cylinder, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a Kenwood stereo, and aftermarket air conditioning, and the car also has styled-steel wheels, GT-style details, and bucket seats, and a white soft top. Purchased by the seller in 2023, this Mustang is now offered with the owner’s manual, a car cover, records, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The car was repainted red in 2008 according to the seller, who notes touch-ups have recently been performed. Exterior equipment includes a power-retractable white convertible soft top and chrome bumpers as well as GT-style exhaust outlets and front grille lights.

The 14″ styled-steel wheels are mounted white-stripe tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The seller states that the brake system was overhauled in 2021, and a dual-circuit master cylinder has been installed.

The spare tire, cover, and trunk mat were replaced under previous ownership.

The bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed with Pony upholstery, and red carpeting lines the floors. The car has air conditioning and a Kenwood stereo.

Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer flanked by fuel-level and water-temperature gauges. The five-digit odometer shows under 22k miles, though the seller believes it is not accurate.

The 289ci V8 was factory rated at 225 horsepower. The top end of the motor was refreshed in 2022, and an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor has been installed.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a C4 three-speed automatic transmission, which the seller states was rebuilt in 2022.

The car is titled to serial number 5F08A726754, which is stamped on the replacement warranty tag. The fender apron VIN is illegible.
