This 1968 Triumph TR250 was purchased by the current owner in 2017 and subsequently refurbished, with work including separating the body from the frame and a repaint in green. The 2.5-liter inline-six was also reportedly rebuilt and is paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Additional features include black vinyl upholstery, a black convertible top, a tonneau cover, replica American Racing Silverstone alloy wheels, front disc brakes, seatbelts, and a heater. This TR250 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a clean Minnesota title in the current owner’s name.

The car was disassembled, stripped, and repainted green with a silver nose stripe as part of the 2017 refurbishment. It features a replacement black convertible top, a black tonneau cover, TR250 badging, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome-finished front and rear bumpers with overriders.

The 15″ wheels are recreations of American Racing Silverstone units and are mounted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. A front sway bar and an independent suspension were equipped from the factory. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.

The cabin features low-back bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with light tan piping as well as a color-coordinated dash surround, door panels, and carpets. Interior appointments include lockable glovebox storage, seatbelts, and a heater.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer while gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage are located in the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 81k miles, approximately 3,500 of which were added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.

The 2.5-liter inline-six was factory equipped with two Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was rated at 104 horsepower and 143 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller notes that the engine was rebuilt during the 2017 project.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive that functions on 2nd-4th gears.
