This 1979 MGB Roadster was retrofitted with dual SU carburetors under previous ownership, and it is finished in yellow over black vinyl upholstery. Powered by a 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission, the car is equipped with a replacement black soft top, black side graphics, 14″ Rostyle wheels, a luggage rack, door-mounted mirrors, fog lights, headlight stone guards, a battery cut-off switch, and a heater. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this MGB is now offered at no reserve with a clean Maryland title.
The car was finished in Inca Yellow from the factory and it features black side graphics, a replacement black soft top, a top boot, a trunk-mounted luggage rack, a fender-mounted antenna, aftermarket fog lights, headlight stone guards, door-mounted mirrors, MG-branded rear mud flaps, and black rubber bumpers. Bubbling paint is present on the left quarter panel and behind the right-front wheel, there is peeling clear coat on the trunk lid, and photos of imperfections and paint touch-ups are provided in the gallery below.
The Rostyle 14″ steel wheels are mounted with 185/70 Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWPII whitewall tires. A spare wheel and tire are located in the trunk. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin houses bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl that extends to the door panels. Interior appointments include a center console with storage under the armrest in addition to a locking glove box, a passenger-side map pocket, replacement carpeting, MG-branded seatbelt pads, and a heater. A battery cut-off switch has been added behind the right seat, and the switch for the fog lights is mounted on the right side of the center console.
The steering wheel features an aftermarket wrap and fronts a tachometer accompanied by a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and supplementary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 60k miles, a handful of which were added under current ownership. A Sunpro voltage gauge was installed between the heater controls under previous ownership.
